Trench Coat Autum 2023

Hi all

Can anyone recommend a good place to get a nice trench coat this season?
I don't have an enormous budget but happy to spend £100ish. Ideally less if anyone can think of a high street option.

My go to idea was M&S but I tried some on and they seem enormous. I think they are going for an oversized fit but I'm a fairly petite / slim (not tiny - 5'3 size 8-10) and even the smallest size made me feel like I was a kid playing dress up.

I'm not looking for black as it completely drains me. Ideally navy but would consider camel or olive / similar.

Have you looked on Vinted ? There are literally loads, some really high end brands for a fraction of the price.

@LucyLoopyLu The M&S ones are excellent! I looked at them the other day and was surprised at the quality. I don’t need one but I would look there first. Arket and &OtherStories have great coats too but more money. Look at John Lewis for choice but I’m impressed with the M&S one.

@TizerorFizz I did try on 2 or 3 in M&S but the fit was wrong on me, even in the small sizes they seemed big all over.

Mango. I have a Mango one which is all cotton and the quality is amazing ( summer sale but) and a M and S one too. I prefer the Mango one to be honest.

Mango size a bit smaller. Cos are generous and well made but over budget. Ditto Massimo Dutti. I see them as an investment piece though.
