AIBU to boycott jeans?!

I am 33 and been searching for that perfect pair of jeans for years!!!

My issues are I am an hourglass so if I buy to fit my bum the waist is huge and vice versa.

I also easily get a bloody camel toe!

I recently thought I had found the one in Abercrombie curve love, however I bought another pair the other day in 2 sizes both fit nicely except they give me a camel toe!! Why don't they make enough room in jeans for women's genitals!

Clearly I have a fat p*y...

I can't be arsed and have decided to not buy any more jeans and go for trousers (ideally with a pull tie waist) where I don't have these crotch related or waist to bum ration related problems.

Could you size up and wear a belt?

LlynTegid · 23/09/2023 09:22

Your choice, don't blame you given what you have experienced. Women's clothes seem to be designed either by men or for about 1% of women.

I bought the next size up also and still the same issue. Must be my lady garden. 🤣

If I size up more than that they’d be super baggy all over unfortunately.

If you don’t pull them up so high you don’t get that issue. If they are too tight and you pull them up too high then you get the issue/

Marks and Spencer's jeans are fat fanny friendly. They also fit those with the larger arse and smaller waist well.

Flamingmentalcats · 23/09/2023 17:00

I have just bought some curve side leg jeans from next and they fit lovely, you could try those?

morekidsthanhands · 23/09/2023 17:07

Try f&f contour jeans if you haven't already. Solid enough so they hide a belly etc, but somehow stretchy and comfortable. They are the only jeans I would wear a t shirt tucked in to and not look like a lump. And also the only ones I don't want to undo after a big meal Grin.

Mynewnameis · 23/09/2023 17:14

I have a large arse and wear m&s, tu high waist or levi 501s if I'm slim (currently not).

doubleshotcappuccino · 23/09/2023 17:44

I found the perfect pair in .... primark !!! And then in the sale rack in m and s .. the problem is when they're wrong they're so wrong but when it's right it's heaven xx

lindyloo57 · 23/09/2023 19:14

@hauntedvagina thats why m&s jeans doesn't fit me i need jeans to fit a flat bum size 10 hips and a size 12 waist.

bigbattygirl · 24/09/2023 15:55

Thanks everyone for the tips. I think I need an ‘emotional break’ from jean shopping for a while (first world problems) but may hunt again on future.

I think my body is quite hard to buy for but perhaps a lot of women suffer. I’m 5 ft 7 so average height so don’t need ‘tall jeans’ but my legs are very long relative to my height. Perhaps this causes the camel toe issue? It I’m also slim build but my bum is curvy relative to my overall size.

Honestly even when I pull them down they creep up there 🤣. I have tried to buy looser fits so deffo not too tight but the crotch is often too high for me.
