Calling Seven for all Mankind jeans fans, A pocket or bootcut?

I do have a pair of authentic bootcut Sevens but alas cannot do them up at the waist since DS2 was born...
Not sure whether to stick to bootcut style in the next size up or to try the A pocket style.
Can anyone tell me what the differences are between them?
Am a bit of a column (straight up and down, flat bum) not sure how that would affect the fit?
Hope someone can advise. Can only find bootcut to try on in local shops.
TIA

The A pockets are slightly bootcut. Check here for measurements and descriptions.

Check out Paige jeans as well (House of Fraser), they are great on.

Selfridges have a good selection of Seven jeans. These are going to be my first purchase when my baby is born!

Thanks SuzeM thats a really useful site, shame they dont export the jeans!
Will look out for Paige, they dont stock them in my local HoF unfortunately - they have been recommended before.

Went to john lewis last week to try on sevens... ordinary bootcut looked totally normal on, not worth spendinig the £150 or whatever. BUT, I also tried on A pocket bootcut, and they looked fab. I am a bit curvy, but not massively, size 29, and they were so flattering, i can't tell you. Stupid price (£250!!!), but have just bought a pair from koodos.com, £77 (woohoo), also A pocket, and am awaiting delivery to see if they are the same.
They were close fitting around waist, hips, bum and thigh, then kicked out at about the knee. Really soft and comfortable. Felt like a different person. Will dig out weblink for you....

Panna - just wanted to say that the Revolve website (which Suze provided) do ship to the UK. I am planning a trying on trip to Selfridges and will then order them online from Revolve. The $ is so weak at the moment so will end up getting them for less than £100

Thanks Orangina I did see that link to Koodos from the other Seven thread we were on last week, just wanted to get some more info before ordering as I havent found A pockets locally to try on (and toof ar from Selfridges sadly).
Tilly id you check out the link above they are only £77 per pair, though there is very limited choice. Bargain though

how low is the waist on these. can you sit down with out your arse hanging out?

Pannacotta · 05/03/2008 12:31

The bootcut are quite low but not too revealing. I wear them with long tops which cover my tummy and I think they are very flattering.
There is a new high rise bootcut style, was a thread on this recently, which sound good but they are mega bucks!
I havent tried loads of premium ranges (cant afford to) but Sevens are super flattering and super comfy IMO.

These jeans that I tried on were amazingly comfortable... I normally (happily) live in topshop jeans, and suddenly they felt like wearing cardboard......

Yes, I should have credited beetroot for the koodos link ... (old thread)
