Facial bleach every other day

I'm wondering if anyone else has to use facial bleach 3 times a week? If I leave it more than 2 days, it's dark again. I've been doing this for probably 2 decades now.

Some but not all of the peach fuzz hair at side of my face is dark and i have pretty fair skin so I bleach it using Jolene bleach. I follow the instructions but despite the product claiming it lasts weeks rather than days, sometimes even on the next day, the bleached hair has reverted to dark again.

Does this happen to anyone else? I've been isolating this week due to covid and so not having to do the usual bleaching routine has been a relief even if it's meant I end up looking like Chewbacca.

Can you wax it? Or is it too thick? That would last a few weeks at least.

I'd get an IPL, you don't have to do it very often at all. I only have to use mine a few times a year now.

Plus the bleach isn't very good for your skin, it ages it after a while and you'll get a dry wrinkled upper lip.

If your hair is dark and your skin is light, IPL is the most effective on you

If you can afford it I’d get a Phillips lumea Machine.

Fair skin and dark hair, I'd save up for laser. Bleaching every day can't be cheap.

I've tried one of those but haven't found it works. I've used it on my chin area as you have to remove all hair before using the IPL. I would say it slowed down regrowth by maybe a quarter but never totally stopped it despite using it for months.

I'm a facial hair bleacher for over 25 years too! I use Jolen and am fair with dark hair.
I only use soap on my face on the day i'm going to bleach.
All other days i wash my face once a day in the evening with only water, no soap or cleansers. I don't wash my face in the morning, nutrients overnight are good for the skin. I bleach about every 3-4 weeks Xx

I would just shave it. I started off shaving so I could use my Philips Lumea, but after a while I stopped getting around to doing the IPL and now I just do a quick shave.

I really don't know how bleached hair can go dark again though, that doesn't make sense. Maybe yellowy/orangey rather than fair? But bleach doesn't wear off.
