Having gel nails done regularly

I would love to have gel nails most of the time. I don't because cost has been an issue. I WFH 4 days, office 1 day. I don't go out out a lot these days. I do like to try to be well-groomed as much as I can. I love the look of gel nails.

Would it be a waste of money to have gels all the time ? Considering I'm wfh most of the time and I don't go out out loads. I go to other people's houses for drinks/dinner quite a bit, so I do see people socially.
Thoughts ?

@MissLucyEyelesbarrow thank you, these are Lily and Fox, i use the Australia site as free shipping, though it can take a couple of weeks to arrive. With a normal top coat over them i'm getting c2 weeks per set.
I've also bought from holy grail nail but haven't tried them out yet.

I have mine done every three weeks, my oh bless him, did them during COVID. Without them I bite the nails down, rip the cuticles out and peel the skin off down to my knuckle practically. That's childhood trauma, but with the nails they look great and I don't self harm.
