Opinions on Fly London boots

I’m looking for some boots to wear with wide leg jeans and trousers. I have small (size 3) narrow feet, so although I want something fairly chunky I need to have a slim fit… if that makes sense.

I have my eye on the Salv Chelsea boot by Fly and wonder if anyone has these and can advise on fit. Also generally what to folk think of Fly boots?

It's a decent quality brand and they should be comfortable and last a long time. They have a certain look to them that isn't me, but I like them on other people.

I like them. Used to have a calf length pair in a lovely shade of red years ago. But I like them over leggings or with skirts where you can see the top of the boot. Under wide leg trousers I think they could look a bit 'mum boot'. But it's really a question of personal preference. The quality was great when I had mine and they lasted for a good while.

I have some Suli and they are quite wide. I tried on Mes and couldn't get them on so assume much slimmer

They'd never work on my size 8s but that do on my friend who has hobbit feet. If you like them, get them.

I’ve ordered a pair and hopefully they’ll fit. I find that having very small feet they ‘disappear’ under wide legged jeans/trousers I hope these will be chunky enough to go some way to avoid this.

They are great for narrow calves and feet! Mes and Mol in particular

I have Salv boots they are not too chunky and they look really nice with my denim skirts and I wear them with Mom jeans - they don’t look mumsey at all!

Thought I'd give a quick update. I bought the Salv boots in diesel with blue elastic inserts... I love them!

Size 3 are a bit big but are perfect with wool socks, which is what I wanted.

I have a pair of fly Chelsea boots. I've worn them about twice because they are the most uncomfortable shoes ever. It felt like being tortured!

Yes, those are the ones.

They’re not as green as those in the photo, more of just a hint of green on a base of grey. Perfect for me.
