Makeup advent calendar for teen

I'm looking to buy DD (18) an advent calendar. Up to £150. However looking at them there's a lot of skincare products that just wouldn't get used (she's got a Skin & Me regime that has worked really well for her blemish prone skin and won't want to mess with that. They're also often for more mature skin types)

Anyway she's obsessed with makeup (Charlotte Tilbury etc) and I was wondering if there was a cool makeup only advent calendar anywhere (or even with very little skincare because I could always snaffle that!)

Mac? Theirs are mainly make up. I think it's out next week, you can sign up for an alert on their website.

I found this with my DDs. I ended up making my own using old Selfridges and Liberty beauty advent calendars which i refilled. it was better than buying one in that i knew they would use everything in it. It did take a bit of time and effort though - 24/25 items is a lot to gather together and they have to be the right size (although i cheated a bit and added favourite chocolates in a few days and also a couple of items of jewellery). Probably a bit more expensive than buying one but less waste. They loved it and i repeated it, but stopped when they went to uni because it is a bit bulky to get there and then cart back home during December.

If you dont have an old calendar you can buy fillable ones.

If you want to buy one and she likes Chalotte Tilbury, they do a good one which is mainly makeup (but some skincare like magic cream), but i think it is usually a 12 days of Christmas one rather than 24/25 day advent one.

Last year I tried to fill beautiful custom-made calendar with products that my DD would use, only to find out that half of them would not fit!! Buying one this year from one of the beauty retailers.

Mine have asked for w7, they're 13 so maybe too young and I haven't done enough research yet. I've asked them (twins) for Abbot Lyon...

Have you tried Sephora?

If you could save up a bit (£40) more.... the John Lewis one this year is amazing apparently, look at tiktok for reviews, crazily expensive though🥲x

I guess she could swap the moisturiser and serum with a friend? The rest does seem to be all make-up.

Get the Charlotte Tilbury one. Quite a few small sizes though. They also do a beauty chest thing but it’s expensive. Mac have a good calendar but depends if she likes that. I got Selfridges for mine as it’s quite makeup centric this year.

Actually- don’t get it. Walked past one today and the things are tiny- free sample sized.
