I need a bra like the Triumph Doreen but not so pointy

I desperately need help with bra choices and I dont have places near me that specialise in bras where I can go and try things on with experts

I have virtually no tissue left, age and weight loss has rendered me with virtually just skin which means I roll them up and pop them in the bra cup

I seem to currently be around a 36 E or perhaps a DD, there is excess fabric in the cup but equally a mono boob so its hard to tell because the skin leaks out and over if Im not careful

Ive never been able to wear underwire as Ive always been uncomfortable but equally they have never had any ability to hold themselves before the age and weight loss, they just grew straight down, not out

Anyway, I ordered myself a doreen with trepidation because I wasnt sure how it would hold up, it seems sort of ok but my god its pointy, a bit like Madonna and it looks a bit odd, its a 36 E.

Is there an alternative which is a bit softer looking?

You could try Goddess. It's an American brand, they do wired and non-wired. Amazon has some but I'm not sure what cup size they start at. I've been wearing them for decades and I find them very comfortable but I'm a JJ cup so they may not work as well for you.

I’ve seen a few wireless bra styles on here How about this?

Could you try the Triumph Amourette style in the non wire version?

OwlBasket · 17/09/2023 10:57

Yes, I was coming to recommend trying the Amourette too. It gives a much rounder shape with more spacing between the breasts than the Doreen

bellac11 · 17/09/2023 11:01

I saw the amourette, it looked a bit skimpy, I need some serious banding and basically despite what is supposed to happen I need them lifted up by the straps, theres nothing that can hold them up otherwise.

It really is worth a try, my breasts are like you describe yours. The cups are a wee bit stretchy (which means I need to size down) and proper full cup, it really helps with the skin sliding out / breasts sloshing.

The panache brand is quite good. I would try and get yourself to an independent lingerie shop for measure and style advice.

Try Elomi Cate, the non wired version.
