Starting to look like Waynetta Slob - new mum needs some style tips!

Tried to kickstart a new wardrobe with my birthday money but ended up buying black jeans, high heels and a silk blouse (dry-clean only wtf!) with no access for breast feeding - completely impractical! I am so sick of wearing jeans and smock tops. I have lost most of my baby weight but still have a jelly belly. What clothes/styles do you recommend for new mums?

How about boots with a skirt? And some rather more fitted tops (more fitted than the smock tops, I mean). I seem to remember that White Stuff is good for a-line skirts.

Ahem

I'll have you know that I tend to look quite smart!!!

Get some breastfeeding vest tops and a few 'nice' cardigans and skirt. Agree White Stuff and Fat Face are good.

Keep it practical (as in you can drag it on in three minutes if you need to!) but stylish.

. The woman herself.

If you're not 100% confident about matching things, I noticed that the White Stuff website has suggestions for what goes with what - eg this skirt if you scroll down, has the tops you could wear with it. Some brown boots, and you're done. Accessories also good, but appreciate if you've got a lo, it can be difficult to wear necklaces etc, as they can get grabbed.

(I know Jackie - I got all excited when I glimpsed my name in a thread title, but then I read it properly!!!)

Well I didn't think I would get style tips from the woman herself. At least I got your attention!

Thanks for the link to White stuff Jackie - great website, never seen before.

Also look at Great Plains, I'm a recent convert, agree that Whitestuff is good too.
