What to wear in Las Vegas

I'm going to Las Vegas at the end of October for a few days and I've no idea what to pack for the evenings.

During the day, I'm thinking cropped trousers & light t-shirts or t-shirt dress and comfy trainers.

In the evenings, I've booked a couple of restaurants in hotels on the Strip. I'm guessing Vegas is more glam than the UK but will I look out of place in e.g. a midi dress and espadrille wedges?

I’ve been many times and never dressed glam (other than for my wedding) and not felt out of place. I’ll think you’ll be fine.

Late October can be changeable for weather so I’d also pack jeans and a jumper and certainly cardigans / jackets for the evening as it drops cold at night.

I was there in July and honestly anything goes! I saw women in sparkly tiny dressed who looked amazing and also women in cargo shorts with plain T-shirts who also looked amazing.

You will definitely need something to cover up in the evening though, being a desert it gets a little chilly later on. Have a great time! I’m jealous

That's a relief that I don't need to buy lots of little, sparkly dresses. I think I've been watching too many films set in Vegas! 😆

I took all the dresses I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing in London 😅

Also, the skimpier the better haha. Just have fun with it - wear stuff you’d never normally wear. It’s a bit like Ibiza or Mykonos in that regard.

Bring cardigans and jackets, it's freezing inside because of the aircon.

Air con means you’ll need a cardigan! I always dress up in Vegas because it’s part of the fun
