Is it worth buying a micro Mulberry bag are they just too small

I’ve had several Mulberry bags before and ended up selling them as I found them heavy and my life was generally around children and dogs so they weren’t really being used.

Fast forward a few years and I only really need to carry a phone, purse, tissues. I’d love another Mulberry and am wondering whether I would get away with one of the micro bags. The Alexa seems to be the biggest of that, the Amberley and the Bayswater.

Just wondered if anyone had one, how much they liked it and how much they used it. Would I be wasting my money or would they be a great buy.

I think you would need to go to a store and see whether your stuffs in or not.

Personally I think the micro's look a bit odd, because they are so small. FWIW I have a mini Alexa, not a micro, and you can fit loads in it even though it is a small bag!

I have an Antony that goes across your body. Lots of space for purse, keys and phone. I also have the darley that's a bit more dressy but room for all the above.

I see the micro bags as a novelty item if I’m honest. I have a small Maple (it fits an A4 folder in it) and that’s as small as I personally would go for a day bag as I think that what suits me proportionally, even if there’s nothing in it. My wallet is bigger than some of the micro bags!

Obviously everyone is different though.

There are so many Alexa and Bayswater bags on the second hand market that I’m just tired of them if I’m honest. They seem to hold their value though.

I absolutely love the micro Bayswater but it’s JUST too small for me to really use it.

Mini is as small as I'd go, rather than micro. I have a mini Alexa, it fits phone, tissues, keys, a bit of makeup etc and a bit of room spare. I find it a good size.
