I come from a large family and used to wear everyone's hand-me-down shoes resoled. I suppose considering most families have fewer children now and how rapid children's feet grow no one bothers selling expensive stitched shoes, but are there any makers left? Doesn't have to be UK.
I seem to remember a British maker of kids orthopaedic shoes that were still stitched but can't find them online anymore.
