had my face mapped by dermalogica, lots of congestion ( no cleansing at night for 5 years probably doesnt help)
so going for the derma.... new me will emerge in 2 months time!

I have always wanted it. Is it very expensive ?

hermykne · 03/03/2008 16:05

i think its going to cost about 80euro , so it is expensive but as my sis says the facial and creams aint doing the job.

I was thinking of having this and did a search on MN-quite a few threads about it.
General consensus seemed to be that it was a good thing but important to wear a high SPF afterwards to avoid sun damage.

OrmIrian · 03/03/2008 17:25

What does it acheive? Does it help combat lines etc, or just give a clearer skin?

hermykne · 03/03/2008 18:44

OrmIrian
i have whiteheads, pregressively moving down my face which is lack of proper cleansing so it will help get them out, and reduce lines (thou i dont have many really)
and help redue the open pores on my nose - god it sound dreadful, but this is close up inspection. sort out blemishes, discolouration etc.

my skin has deteriorated(sp) in the last 3 years and i now have to do something about it.

I see. Might be worth thinking about for me to. My skin seems to have deteriorated dramatically in the last 5/6 yrs - OK so I'm 43 but I feel that my skin looks much older than that.

Hope it helps. Keep us posted.

had it yesterday and it was good. i do notice a diff in texture and my skin is brighter, plumper.
so two more and the whiteheads/pores thing should be sorted.
not sore
dont need to exfoliate for 10 days.
must wear SPF 25 +
i think the lines ( which are oh so faint at my eyes!) have slightly dimished too.

Worth it.
back nxt month.
