Fabulous charity shop finds!

I never have anything good in my nearby charity shop- SE London- but today I scored a beautiful burgundy Russell and Bromley bag in mint condition for £15. So thrilled. No way could I afford full price. I also found a beautiful purple Uniqlo pure merino wool jumper for £5. Not as exciting, but very useful.

Jeans from the shelter shop last week. The softest, stretchiest denim in the perfect boyfriend shape, four quid.

Oh how I laughed when I finally found the brand label buried inside - Long Tall Sally 😂😂

I'm five foot three!

Good jeans are hard to find so that is a good find!

BanditsOnTheHorizon · 02/09/2023 16:34

I found a lime green 3/4 length wool coat in a charity shop in Stamford - it's absolutely gorgeous

Ragruggers · 02/09/2023 16:37

Brora cashmere cardigan, perfect condition £6 Oska tunic £2 never worn.

CantGetABreak · 02/09/2023 16:38

Where do you all find these cheapy charity shops? Our local ones have amazing designer finds in...but they're at least £30 / £50

Britpopbaby · 02/09/2023 17:00

Country casuals angora and wool cardigan. About three or four sizes too big but I plan to wear it more in the style of a jacket. It’s very 80s I think. £4.50

hdbs17 · 02/09/2023 17:11

I'm jealous - all my local charity shops just stock Primark clothing and the same price it sold as new.

I never get any good findsb

And mine ☹️

A brand new Next leather jacket for £7.50, my one and only charity shop clothing purchase, used to go mainly for kids books!

FirstTimeMother88 · 02/09/2023 17:44

We need pics to go with these products! Smile

TFMinx · 02/09/2023 17:46

Can anyone recommend any good charity shop areas? As like another poster, all my local ones are stuffed to the brim with mis-shaped Primark and Tesco.

I'm in SW Smile

Blossomandbee · 02/09/2023 17:58

I haven't found anything good for myself in a while, like others mine are mostly overpriced Primark and supermarket clothes.
I've bought DH a few pairs of shorts for around £3-£4 that he's worn all over the summer. He says shorts are too expensive new.
I also found him a nice cotton Fynch Hatton shirt the other day for £5 which I had never heard of but turns out was £95 new!

ritaqueenofspeed · 02/09/2023 18:29

I got a really nice RAB gilet for four quid in our local charity shop. Gave it to DD for horse riding.

Honestly, it seems to be pure luck. I live in SE London, but I walk about a lot, and I have had great finds in St Johns Wood, Marylebone and Kensington, but also seen a lot of overpriced designer stuff here.

Just last week I went to the nearest super posh area and managed to get some AG jeans for £20 (retail £265 and look like never worn). Brand new Boden paper bag jeans for £10, some Thought hemp shorts for £4.50 and Gant linen shorts for £6. I also found a new all leather 90s style blazer in my local (less posh) area which has some decent shops and a per Una military wool jacket, both £10.

Icycloud · 02/09/2023 18:34

I’m happy for you too

BansheeofInisherin · 02/09/2023 19:15

Am a bit hopeless at adding photos but this is the bag. I carry a lot about on the Tube so I always use big bags.

Fabulous charity shop finds!
