It it just me that hates labels in clothes?

Why do companies still sew scratchy labels into clothes. I take them out but have left holes sometimes or am left with the irritating stub at the end of each label.

Some emboss why can't all companies do this?

Some are OK, but some are just plain evil. Sewn in by psychopaths. It's the only explanation.

I remove them all -and the horrible plastic hanger things on the shoulders. I’m looking at you Marks and Spencer 😡

Me too,hate them!

I hate them too - and also have little bikes in several of my clothes where I've cut them out.

The ones at the neck or waist, you need to use nail scissors or other sharp pointed scissors to snip the threads attaching them to the garment. Sometimes you need to be patient and take some care to avoid holing the garment. The ones at the sides can just be cut down to the seam.

Try taking out the 2 tightly sewn in labels in M&S merino jumpers - tight in the neck area - has put me off buying them

You all need a stitch-unpicker: https://www.amazon.co.uk/HiChange-Pieces-Rippers-Sewing-Unpicker/dp/B07G35FZZT — no more holes in garments!

Hate them. DD too. The ADHD probably doesn't help. She's like a cat in a string bag if there's a label.

WandaWonder · 02/09/2023 03:35

I totally agree with you and I hate Ikea labels the most
