How to style baby hair

I have a 10 month old boy with long curly hair. I don't want to take him to get a cut just yet as he's still too young but also want to keep it from his face when we're out and about. I tried tying it back but get a lot of comments , do you tie your baby boy hair in a low pony? Any tips will help ;)

Have you tried just ignoring her comments? My little one has hair clips or a mini-fountainesque ponytail on top of their head to keep hair out of eyes. Looks ridiculous but....it's practical and works for us!

Do whatever is most comfortable for your baby that's all you need to concern yourself with, not some random comments from strangers.

I'd honestly ignore them, it's just hair

If it’s in his face and bothering him just get it cut - he isn’t too young. Otherwise you’re going to have to tie it back and ignore any comments

Why is he too young? Or do you mean you don't want to cut it yet? The earlier you get him used to it, the better!

That was my thought. I only had girls, but they both had very long hair from birth. I cut it into the classic bob with fringe regularly.
