Can anyone help with my hair, pics included

I dyed my hair and it went orangey, I tried a toner but it did not help. I went to a hairdresser to get it looking more natural and blonder but I'm not happy. It is lighter at the top and looks unnatural and yellowy. Can anyone help with what I should do?

It is mousey originally

Could you go back to the hairdresser and ask for a toner if they haven't already done one? Failing that maybe some more lighter highlights?
In the meantime I would try purple shampoo and conditioner.

I think it looks lovely. Like a dirty blonde colour. Get some more highlights through it

Are you sure you don’t just need a few days to get used to such a big change op? I remember going from really long to really short and was freaking out for about a week until I got used to the “new” me. It looks good to me.

Will toner make it one colour all over again? I don't want that

Toner won't make it go one colour as it varies the tone of the hair rather than changes colour.

For example it can even put yellow and orange tones, you just need to correct toner for what you're looking for but you're best going back to the hairdresser and asking for a toner or gloss.

Toner should knock out the yellow/orange tones. If you have highlights/lowlights it won’t make it all one colour - you’ll keep the variation.

ArcticBells · 30/08/2023 17:32

I love it. You could use a purple shampoo to tone it down if you want to

Chopnchange · 30/08/2023 17:43

It'll maybe look lighter at the top to you if light is hitting it there. I really like it.vdont think you need to change anything
