OK, so I am a bit late for this, but I need some urgent advice to look fabulous for an even I have to go to at the weekend.
Firstly, I need to learn quickly how to style my hair. I have long (halfway down back) thick, but fine, straight dark brown hair. I would like to give it a bit of a wave/ curl. I usually have this done at a hairdresser if I need it, but need to do it myself. See photos. What do I need to do this, and keep it going for a few hours? I have a straightening iron, but it is not a GHD. It is a Remington Cloud, and wider than a GHD.
Secondly, I need a really good red lipstick (and liner). I have a couple, but they are very wintery. I need a summer one, and I am very tanned at the minute as just got back off holiday. I don't do well with pink in the red. Maybe a full on red, or red-orange. I don't suit the fashionable brands like Mac with a matt red or anything like that.
Finally, I need a natural nail polish. Ideally matte, or something that I won't be able to see through, but a natural colour with a beige tone, not pink. I need it for both hands and feet. If I am going red lips, I don't want red finger nails and toes.
Thx in advance. I can scrub up really well with a bit of help, but am a bit out of practise.
