Help!

I haven't been out in years and now I have to go to a hen party next month in Cardiff. We are going out for a meal and then onto the Comedy Club in the Bay.

What on earth to I wear? The last time I went to anything similar was 3 years and 1 baby ago. I have no idea at all.

To help, I am size 18, large of nork. I have blonde hair and can do skirts or trousers really.

Please help....

Jeans and a sparkly top? Or something all in black with a fab necklace, chunky.

Bear in mind the comedy club will be dark and you'll only be really seen from the waist up in a restaurant so I wouldn't spend a lot on shoes!
I'll have a look on a couple of websites and get back to you.....

Yes jeans or trousers with smart top that you're comfortable wearing sitting down, and yes a nice necklace.

the v necked ones on these are nice, esp. middle top I think? You could wear with a pair of wide leg trousers, or dark jeans and a funky necklace.

Ooh, I like that one Maidamess. You reckon that one with jeans, do you? Or wide leg trousers? Flat shoes or heels?

Well, I'm a heels girl so I am biased. I always like to elevate myself slightly on a night out!

Me too!

Well, there you go. Have a snoop round Monsoon if theres one near you, they def. do size 18's and I bet you get something lovely. Good luck!

Are tunics easy to wear then? I've never tried one. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to clothes and have ignored tunics as a passing phase. They seem to be lingering though and they do look lovely.

However. Being large of norks, will I just look like a sack of potatoes?

Tunics are lovely to wear. Very flattering, and if they are gently shaped, and I think those ones on that page are, with a v neck too, you can't fail to look gorgeous. They hide any 'tummy issues' too, always a blessing. Go on be brave, try it on, you'll be surprised!

As long as you don't wear leggings with it (and I'm not suggesting for a moment that you would) they look really classy, IMHO.

Thanks, I might just do that tomorrow. Monsoon here I come!
