Has anyone got one of those at home laser hair removal things?

Does it work? How much of a hassle is it?

I mostly use an epilator, because it lasts so much longer than shaving or creams, but I'd rather do something which would be more permanent. I know they cost about £100, so I don't want to buy one until I can be sure they actually work well!

Anyone know?

Go for IPL.
Home kits never work.

Is that what you get at salons? I've never tried it, always seems so inconvenient to get to a salon. But if the home ones are useless there's no point in wasting my cash.

I've got one of those pen things that isn't lasers but is more of an electrolysis type of thing. It has a set of pads that come with it too for larger areas. It is ok and does reduce the amount of hair that grows back but being pregnant I can't continue it's good work now! My friend had one and she swore by it hence I bought one, I think it was about £30 from Argos or something.

Thanks, I tried a pen one, but it didn't have pads. I might try looking for one of that sort
