So... I've just got back from the Edinburgh Fringe, and as expected it would rain hard for 15 mins and then stop... I've now now got various book festivals etc coming up and realise `i would much rather have a poncho in my bag for these events that goes over me and my bag, than an umbrella.
I saw a super-stylish woman in a long dark grey poncho with thin long dash lines, almost like pinstripe - very gorgeous and clearly very lightweight, ready to be folded up VERY small. And foolishly didnt ask her where she got it.
There was me in my £3 seethru one, adorned with scottish flags, picked up at the corner shop...
Hoping the wonderful Mumsnet mind can come up wiht some great ideas ... Very lightweight & stylish, that's the ask!!
