Can you dress up high top converse?

I'm not a heel type of person. Or formal flats. Going on a night out this weekend. Can I wear converse? (Black platforms with white soles). If so what with?
I'm very slim with no chest
I'm so crap with choosing outfits and always feel uncomfortable in my own skin and clothes so really struggling

Can you go for wide leg cropped trousers? They go nicely with converse...

I was at a party recently and a woman was wearing a pink trouser suit with Converse. She looked really cool.

I don’t see why not! I think a fitted dress and Converse would look good. I think since Covid people are more inclined to dress for comfort rather than “out out” kind of glam!

Thanks all. We're not going out-out. I think it's somewhere with a mix of people so some might dress up but others might dress more casual? But I'm not sure I don't go out much 😂
Would mom jeans and maybe a loose black crop top sound ok?
I have a midi T-shirt dress with slits up the side but it just doesn't look right to me.
DH said the converse makes me look like a skater 😬

If you are slim - I think a long body con dress would look good - bright colour or black

You can put a shirt over the top if you are conscious or cold!

My 18 year old niece and her mates wear cocktail dresses with grubby converse. All the lashes and make up though. It's very common where I live. I think it's brilliant.

I wore them out on Saturdays night with wide leg leopard trousers and a black crop top .

I don't wear heels anymore or rarely at least .

I have 3 pairs of converse lift which are the thicker sole hi tops so make me taller too
