Help me find a replacement for my cotton jersey jumpsuit

I have this jumpsuit in green. It looks great, has a neat waist and just enough arm coverage and is perfect for Pilates.

It's looking a bit jaded now (urgh faded armpits) and currently they only make it in mad patterns and black. I have my eye out for preloved ones in solid colours but in the meantime is there a substitute out there? Preferably 1) good thick cotton jersey (not the thin kind that shows every bump and looks like a rag after one wash) and 2) an autumnal colour. Ideally I'd prefer a sustainable/ethical brand. I'm a size 12, 5'6".

I ordered a few from John Lewis - this one, this one and this one - none of which was quite right. Mostly too much exposure around the armpits and/or waists were too low or flappy.

Magic Suit Black

This pantsuit really is magic.✨ It's a one and done outfit that looks flattering without compromising one bit on comfort! Made in our super soft stretch cotton jersey, it features three buttons down the torso so it's easy to slip on, an elastic waistl...

If it's cotton jersey it should hold dye reasonably well if you just wanted to freshen up the colour a bit.

bingo many thanks. I need a waist, shoulder coverage and some structure so it doesn't just hang. There's a bit of vertical tension in mine if that makes sense.

Iudncue yes thanks for the suggestion, great minds think alike 😃That'll be my next move. Having said that I've never successfully dyed fabric with lycra in. Depending on how bad it looks over time I may try this, Dylon olive green would be ideal.

Getting thanks for that, but I need a fitted waist, stretch and shoulder coverage. I think that's woven?

I could have been clearer in my OP about shoulder coverage, it needs to have a cap sleeve or similar, so anything dungaree-like won't work.

I have several cotton jersey jumpsuits from Woolovers. I've been happy with the quality

Sporty thanks, I could only find viscose jersey there now sadly.

What’s wrong with viscose? It’s natural and breathable.

Mummyof lol no worries, I always read too quickly and miss out a chunk of info on these threads.

I don't suit grey or black, open to most solid autumnal colours though.

The thing about viscose jersey is that I've never had a garment that I liked (too clingy, too thin, clammy, bobbles, wrinkles, somehow it's always too hot or too cold) and I've got a stack of viscose gym clothes bought in the spirit of optimism but which I hate wearing so I'm just not buying it anymore.

Thanks all for the links. I know I have a list of very specific boxes to tick which probably is a bit annoying. I hate shopping for gym clothes! So I do appreciate the help 🙏

Thanks, I love the Baukjen and L&Y versions for everyday wear (and spot on for colours) but I think they're woven and I need a jersey version for Pilates.
