Olaplex No7 - has the formulation changed? Think I've purchased a fake!

Have used Olaplex 7 for a while now, so am familiar with the smell. Ordered a bottle from ebay and it smells totally different and looks lighter. I knew I was taking a risk, due to the great price, but took that risk!

As I've had my current bottle for a while, I'm wondering whether the formulation has changed in the past year or so? If anyone can let me know if any they've bought recently smells the same as it used to (if you've used it before), I'd be grateful!

I haven't noticed any changes. I think you've bought a fake.

@HundredMilesAnHour and @MetaverseMavis - yes, I'm pretty sure I have. Have messaged them with pictures of theirs and the original - you can clearly see the difference in colour. Also, there are two cracks in the lid and the top looks 'squashed' as it's slightly lopsided.

It's particularly annoying as I trawled through the listings to find a seller that had a good number of feedback as many selling this item had none, and were clearly dodgy. I'm not usually a risk taker!
