Helped! Nail cracked, already got gel on it, how do I fix?

It’s gone right at the point where my nail meets the tip of my finger- I can’t afford to get my nails done again until next week and I don’t want to have to cut it as it’ll be so much shorter than all the others- any suggestions for a fix that will last long enough for my nails to grow and won’t look bloody awful?

You could try nail glue but IME it won’t last. You’d be better off cutting it as best you can and then smoothing it with an emery board. I hate it when this happens but it’s why I can’t have gels, I can only have acrylic as gel does this every time, or it starts to lift and peel.
