What shoes to wear with this jumpsuit?

I'm going to a wedding in 10 days time and have been a bit useless on sorting out an outfit but have found a jumpsuit I like and I think will look great with a big hat. I'm massively struggling on the shoe front though.

I have terrible feet - wide at the toe and narrow at the heel - so I have long found shoes tricky to buy. To add to this I had foot surgery last year and can no longer wear any kind of heel without being crippled.

Can anyone suggest an attractive, comfortable, flat shoe or sandal I can wear with this? Am not too bothered on price but could do with it being on the more reasonable end of things as it probably won't be worn often.

At this stage I'm trying to convince myself that with the right hat/jewellery/make-up I could get away with trainers but I'm not sure that's right for a wedding.

I'd go for a low sandal or a ballet type if you want a closed toe.

No to trainers and black ballet flats. It's a nice jumpsuit though, on the boho side, so you can definitely get away with flat sandals. Gold and strappy would be my choice, e.g. 1 or 2 (nicer sandals will be available, these were just found from a quick google). Toe posts might be comfier if you had wider toes

Oh sorry @Sobekneferu , they're showing black on my page but I think you meant the metallic ones. I'd stick with sandals but the metallic ones are better than the black!

Thank you for the advice. I hadn’t even thought about sandals (brain dead right now clearly). I’ve found a pair on vinted that fit the bill and, more importantly, fit!
