Trousers for a tall skinny boy?

Ds13 has grown out of most of his clothes this summer and has one pair of trousers. He won’t wear joggers (too sporty) or jeans (he’s autistic and has sensory issues). At the moment he’s in shorts but he needs trousers for the winter. He’s a 26w34l and he also won’t wear anything with a belt or buttons so ideally drawstring.

George in Asda have some cool clothes for him. You can order them on line and return them if he doesn't like them

I share your pain. We had a phase of needing 28/34 when I just despaired - DS wears shorts in the house but has to have some trousers. We found FatFace and H&M had longer leg in smaller waist. Jack and Jones also have a 34 leg which comes up long but they charge postage and a return fee and the chinos I've received this week are a different colour to those in store so I can't recommend their on line service.

I’ve finally found 26w34l trousers on the dickies website. Spent £65 quid on a pair of trousers and feeling rather broke. Yet to find an affordable option…

I get Jack and Jones jeans on Amazon - the less common sizes (skinny waist / long legs!) are usually on offer 🙂

Also h&m and regatta can sometimes have those sizes, but are a bit hit and miss...

I‘ve discovered next/river island also do skinny/long legs combo. Found some more reasonably priced trousers for ds (£30), I don’t know where he’s got his height from! I’m short and dh is average!

Yes been there too! My older son needs 36 inch leg and was also skinny - I found asos tall were good for chinos and could get jeans in Jack wills and also got some bargains in Levi’s outlet store as he is such an unusual size ! Happy hunting !
