I have never really bought anything from these brands. Are they good quality, durable, etc and what is the sizing like? Thanks

I had Jigsaw lace cami - great quality, lasted well. Also have a Brook blazer for work, also well made and feels quality. Sizing just right.

Whistles dresses - excellent. Whistles sweatshirts - both didn’t last a years, sizing on a small side for me.

The closers comparison for me is M&S Autograph, their sizing is ok I’m width but for taller person, so hot and miss.

Jigsaw generally good quality, I buy trousers / jackets for work and T-shirts/ knitwear. All good as long as you look after them. but I always look for a 15% or 20% off code, which come round pretty regularly.

Generally both are fine. Nice styles that don't date badly. Not cheap but good, decent brands, and I think of them as shops where I'm bound to like something.

I buy most of my clothes second hand, and I will almost certainly not leave something by either brand if I see it in a charity shop, unless it has passed being wearable. If it's not my size, a family member gets it.

Nice designs but Whistles' quality has deteriorated hugely in recent years whilst prices have increased. I refuse to buy their dresses any more.

I like a bit of Whistles, as they tend to have slightly different - but not outrageous - designs. But agree, that their quality isn't what it was. I have a dress that o bought in a same earlier in the summer, which has done sterling work for weddings, theatre and garden parties this year. It is viscose, but would have been nicer is cotton. I've noticed on the care labels that thru now belong to Phase 8, a brave that I used to aspire to, but now I can afford them, I'm not that bothered.

I used to love Jigsaw, but I've been buying the same t shirt from them for several years in different colours. It's got thinner and shorter every year, to the point of impracticality. RIP Whitney top.
