Clinique double face powder dupe?

I'm looking for a light coverage powder foundation. The Clinique is what I usually use but I'm fed up of paying £30 for something which starts to crumble when it's only half used. Has anyone found a cheaper dupe for this please?

No sorry

I know what you mean. I bought the powder from JL for £34. I love the coverage it has on my skin, but the powder doesn’t last long in its compact. Would love to know more of an alternative too.

@panko is it this one?

Body shop do something similar. I use Estée Lauder double wear foundation pressed powder, but when I'm skint I'll use the bodyshop one.

Max factor facefinity is the closest - but don’t pay full price for it, you can get it for about £4 on Amazon. I worked for Clinique for 15 years and that’s the one we all used when we couldn’t get hold of the double powder shade or whatever we wanted.

Rimmell stay matte isn’t a bad second - but if you put too much on in one go it tends to go a bit flaky.

Ooh thanks, good tip.

If I wear matt beige in Clinique should I get the 02 shade?

I’m not entirely sure. I think you’ll just have to have a try and see what you think. I tend to wear Ivory / alabaster in most Clinique stuff and I like the Crystal Beige colour in the max factor one.

Max factor do a white powder can't remember what it's called. It's brilliant and i wouid never go back to an expensive brand now

superstar63 · 19/08/2023 18:14

Is there a powder that is not too "powdery" and has more of a dewy look or is that asking too much?

panko · 19/08/2023 18:20

Yes
