What shall I wear to ds's 30th birthday in Brighton

I've left it to the last minute as usual so panicking slightly!

Meeting ds for a family lunch, and then on to a bar he's hired - not quite sure of timings but I'd like one outfit for the whole day/evening if possible.

Im 58, a size 12-14 and very definitely an under dresser rather than an over dresser! Something smart and structured isn't me - I live in jeans and shirts mostly or casual dresses, and nearly everything is black!

Also context - what type of restaurant for lunch, what type of bar?

How about something like this OP? You could wear it with flats to be more casual. Brighton itself is fairly relaxed so I would definitely err on the side of not being too smart.

Ive just moved house so budget is as little as I can get away with!

I don't know where lunch is nor the bar, but I do know neither will be formal. I love the jumpsuits linked except for the wide legs.
