Where would you wear this dress?

Nowhere. It looks like suiting material worked up into a dress with no home. If your wear this type of dress, wear it where you normally would! It’s looks like someone experimenting.

Could you wear it to work if you paired it with a collar or tucked a short shirt/blouse into it?

I can't think of anywhere. It's a "work" dress but wholly inappropriate for work 😆

I love that. Too fat for it these days, but would have worn it to the pub with a biker jacket and boots in my younger/slimmer days.

It’s £22.99 from Zara. Mostly polyester with a bit of stretch. I assume they expect it to be a late holiday buy as the material’s too thin for it to be sensible daywear in the UK once Autumn kicks in.

But it might get lots of wear in cocktail bars over the next few … weeks, rather than months , maybe. It’s very throwaway.

DD has a similar dress and wears hers just for normal day to day wear or out in the evening

It’s not work wear and I like it too. But it’s a night out dress I think or at a push, a day out with friends for cocktails etc,

but yes, it’s holiday or night out for a nice meal, cocktails, etc

Daywear/casual evening, layered under jackets or oversized shirts, or over t-shirts, button shirts or polonecks. The photography makes it look more formal than it actually is IRL (I tried it on as well).

Evening out in a city centre. Or with a short jacket you could wear it to work!
