Navy dress
Ideally with things I already have.
One occasion is a 40th birthday party the other an evening wedding.
I'm aware it's not the classiest dress, I'm not in love with the asmetric hem but it's the best I can do in the time available. My arms and waist are two of my best features (not so much my knees!) This is the dress 😆
The guests are two entirely different groups of people.
I have good quality silver and blue "tortoise shell" bangle and earrings that I was given for my 18th birthday (a long long time ago). They're not current, but I don't think jarringly dated and I love them, so I'll go with the bangle at least. I'm not sure about matching earrings, I could do square diamond studs or diamanté knots.
Shoes, I like comfort. Choices, block heel navy suede ankle boots. Block heel nubuck closed toe sandals, navy pointy slingbacks with a bit of sparkle and mid height stilletto heel (I think they are dated?), really good quality high heeled courts in navy and black suede, flat silver sandals.
I don't really do bags so it's either manage without (phone and lip balm), use a nylon cross body phone bag I already own and keep it out of photos or try and get something, but I wouldn't want to spend much as I use them so rarely.
