Perfumes with good sillage/long lasting

If I like perfumes like La Vie est Belle & Opium Black, but want one that lasts longer/has better sillage (Opium Black is espeially bad for this) what shoudl I be considering?

I love Byredo perfumes and find they really last on me. Also bought Killian this week, nice, but not as long lasting as Byredo i don't think.

I like many by Fragonard; they are potent.

The signature Fragonard by Fragonard is my favorite. Frivole is great, too.

I never noticed that! Their Vetiver is lovely.

Narcisse (daffodil) is reportedly their best-selling eau de toilette. It is what we 'created' in the perfume workshop at their Paris shop. Very fun; took about an hour. We all got to make our own version of it, using the basic ingredients/notes.

I like the stronger eau de parfum myself.

Anything by Estee Lauder. Seriously.

You beat me to it! I was wearing one yesterday I think it was private collection.

Baccarat Rouge and Chloe Nomade Jasmine both have some similar notes with Opium, and last for ever. Bought the Chloe because I tried it on, slept, showered, and could still smell it.

Which would be similar to those I like?

You need to think in terms of notes and concentrations rather than brands. Citrus won't last. Oud will be the last man standing after the apocalypse.

Chanel Eaux are beautiful, but they're colognes for example so have next to no sillage. Likewise Guerlain Acquas, Jo Malones etc.

Guerlain Samsara or Shalimar however, or Chanel parfums, will last.

That said, most of 4160 Tuesdays last very well. You could try some samples. I'm currently in love with Court of Ravens and when I sprayed some on a card, I could smell it 3 days later.

Chypres will last, spice will last. Vanilla, Labdanum, benzoin, patchouli,oakmoss etc will hang around.

Dior Addict (original blue bottle) is very long lasting.

Angel Muse is a lovely spicy/woody scent and again lasts really well.

They're a bit budget these days but anything from Calvin Klein. I've got Euphoria after a recommedation on here, and it lasts all day. Same with Eternity Air.

Miller Harris Scherzo and Prada Paradoxe are both strong and long lasting.

Hermes - L'Ambre des Merveilles, Eau de Parfum. It lasts all day on me (and leaves my pillow smelling gorgeous) and I am that person on whom perfumes really don't like to stay!

Aromatics elixir is absolutely nothing like those two perfumes you like OP buy my god, I accidentally sprayed some on the cuff of my coat like an absolute spanner IN DECEMBER and dear god I can still still smell it on there.

I second Oud. I keep getting sprayed with it from a place i go in town. Too expensive to buy so get a squirt every now and again. Lasts all day.

I've had lots of expensive perfumes the only one that really lasts is Alien everybody asks what it is

Guerlain lasts well on me as does Dior
I also like Jean Paul gaultier perfumes for staying power
Jimmy choo, victor and Rolf, are indiscernible very quickly on me

Me too. I love Byredo scents but they last about 30 minutes so I could never buy one

Ditto that. Only used to wear it when I went out. Got loads left hah as don't go out anymore
