Not a trainer, not a boot, what do you wear with jeans?

So looking for some inspiration and I've an upcoming birthday so some money to spend!

Since working at home (still since covid!) I have gotten into the habit of jeans/leggings with trainers and a tshirt/hoodie most days!

I do make more of an effort of going out and do enjoy getting dressed up! But I feel like I need something a bit more in between for my feet. I have loads of trainers but feel sometimes I need something a bit less casual to wear with jeans (not boot have loads of them too)

So what are you all wearing? Looking for inspiration! Not against a smarter trainer or something? I'm early 40s.

Loafers?

Take a look at Meg Ryan for inspo in terms of styling for A/W. Very contemporary styling!

Try a wedge espadrille that ties at the ankle. So easy to walk in and sexy, they go with anything. They’re my staple in the wardrobe especially for holiday outfit s. Mine are black with the usual hessian beige wedge. Jazz them up by changing the lace straps, easy to find on eBay, so versatile.

Meg Ryan in Harry Met Sally to be specific!9

Oh thanks both! I did think about loafers but wasn't sure, but will check some out!
Also espadrilles, think of them more as a holiday shoe, but why not! Smile
