Socks showing with hi top converse or not?

Have a silk look champagne colour skirt and black graphic tee and got converse for my recent birthday (40th). Like the idea of wearing a sock slightly showing over the top maybe even with frilly edge (like my toddler right enough) or am I going through an actual midlife crisis ? 😂

You need the over the knee socks which you wrinkle down at the ankle !

Frilly toddler socks? I think you might be!

yes to knee socks rolled down.

I have some socks from monki that are ribbed, and just show over my mid-top trainers, I quite like the look

MushMonster · 14/08/2023 17:15

Yes to showing some sock or rolled them down.
Hell no to frilly socks!

I wear this with little short socks with a kind of lettuce edge rather than actual lace trim. If you like it, wear it!

Steakpeppersauceandchips · 14/08/2023 17:27

Ah maybe lettuce trim is what I mean, thanks everyone and will try monki 👍

I do both (not at the same time). I think the socks need something about them if they’re showing though- bright colours, or stripes, or patterns. Not just bog standard black or navy. And not frilly. I’ve been tempted, but it’s a step too far.
