If so which ones do you recommend? I was thinking of getting the Urban Decay All igniter in a travel size if possible.

My daughter used to use it when she was in dance shows under hot stage lights. Not sure if it help with transfer onto clothes though.

I have that exact one & love it. Only started it recently & it defo sets my makeup for longer. However I dont wear foundation/concealer so not sure about that aspect

Whataretheodds · 14/08/2023 14:35

Yes, it won't stop transfer altogether but definitely keeps more of it on your face.

I use ELF or NYX

Fraaahnces · 14/08/2023 14:35

I don’t think it necessarily increases longevity, but it melts the makeup nicely into the skin for that “fresh” look, meshes all the products together, if you will. I guess this means it looks better for longer, but it doesn’t mean it lasts longer. It’s also good to “freshen” the look during the day when it begins to settle, but you’d also need a sponge to help pat it out.

I bought the last travel size of the All-nighter so I will try it tomorrow!

The UD All Nighter is great, but the ELF one is a good second if you are watching pennies (Matte one in black container)

PrincessHoneysuckle · 14/08/2023 16:59

All nighter is good. The Benefit one is crap tho.

Lndnmummy · 14/08/2023 20:24

Hourglass one is great

Moonshine5 · 14/08/2023 20:27

I like the illuminating setting mist. Leaves it nicely dewy.

I got terrible spots when I tried the Urban Decay one but it did do its job of keeping my makeup in place

BetsyBobbins · 14/08/2023 20:36

I've had the Urban Decay and some other expensive ones and to me Barry M is just the same if not better, honestly

Wowzel · 14/08/2023 20:46

I always used to use hairspray, but these are great too!

Sparkletastic · 14/08/2023 21:21

UD All Nighter is the only one that really works

Tinybirdie · 14/08/2023 22:05

I've tried them all I think and I'd recommend wet n wild!

foolishone · 14/08/2023 22:10

I like Urban Decay but use Nyx Dewy because it's so much cheaper.

foolishone · 14/08/2023 22:11

I've stopped using powder at all and always use setting spray. It's so much better.

Icantsleepagain · 14/08/2023 22:24

NYX dewy is the best I've used so far and I've tried quite a few.

Fraaahnces · 15/08/2023 01:43

@Niftythrifter You can also use it under your makeup and between layers to “blend” more seamlessly.

BHRK · 15/08/2023 13:27

I use the Mac one and think it works well
