DHC Velvet Skin Coat

I loved this product and I think it's been discontinued 😢. Anyone got any recommendations for a make up primer please?

Is this similar? It's out of stock but I'm sure it;ll be back .
You cannot see very well from the photo but on the videoes its a clear balm type primer .

I don't think it's being discontinued, it looks like DHC is withdrawing from the UK/EU market entirely, they've shut down their UK office and website. The primer is still available in the US and Japan and can easily be ordered from their respective Amazon sites (.com or .co.jp) that take care of all custom/import taxes and fees. Obviously shipping isn't the cheapest but if you buy in bulk it might be worthwhile (Yesstyle also sells it but it's a long despatch of 21 days so would avoid that).

Otherwise, in terms of concept and ingredients the Shiseido Synchro Skin Soft Blurring primer looks very similar and you can probably try it out in a shop near you. The DHC was often recommended as an alternative to Benefit Porefessional so that may be worth trying too, I know they offer a travel size of it.

I'll start investigating

Escentual still sell some DHC products, but apparently not the Velvet Skin Coat. I stocked up on the oil and facewash powder when Superdrug discontinued it last autumn.

I always thought it was a really popular product but maybe not
