3 kids later and a 2 year old c section scar, I am in need of some help in finding some high waisted pants which aren't actually like a parachute. Any recommendations?

M&S tend to do a lot of their lingerie in a variety of styles including high waisted shorts which I think are a bit sexier than your traditional granny pants! I just go all out and have them sitting right on my waist so they nip in and it looks deliberate, iyswim. And for actual sexy lingerie, Lovehoney and Playful Promises have some nice high waisted options.

It's all about who's in it.

I tend to wear the shorts type which have a more sporty look and are very comfy. Or shape wear in 2 sizes too big.

I like shorts. Not sure if they're sexy exactly, but I do think they're attractive, more so than most other styles, big or little.
