Airwrap style hair without an airwrap

Hi, I’m late 30s and I’ve styled my hair straight for years. It’s starting to look v v dated!! Would love to have more of a wavy / air wrap style look but i cant afford the Dyson air wrap!! I have - hair dryer, 2 x round brushes (x large and medium), paddle brush, tangle teezer and cloud 9 straighteners. Would be willing to buy something else but my budget is about £50. Also I have a newborn and other kids, and I have about 15 mins to dry and style my hair after washing it. What can I do to
get the air wrap look without the price tag?!

Buy a heartless curler. Cost about a tenner. Watch a YouTube video. Do it before bed and you’ll have lovely loose waves in the morning.

I’m also after exactly what you describe but cannot justify the £400 price tag for the shark or Dyson. I’ve tried heatless curls overnight and it just dosent seem to work for me :(

Plait your hair at bed time. So many people are doing this. I thought my best friend had invested in an air wrap, but turns out she just plaits her hair at night.

The only thing that keeps my hair in a wavy style is lots of hair spray and wrapping it round a curling wand.
I had the airwrap but sold it as the curls dropped out after 30 mins max.

@SleepWouldBeADream is there a curling wand you’d recommend?

i tend to wash my hair in the mornings rather than evenings so not sure a heatless curler would suit me.

Try one of these!!
My hair is poker straight, and this has honestly been a god send for giving my hair some volume and bouncy waves.

I have the one linked, I believe I got it for £80 on sale but there are lots of others just like it, and I’ve heard really good things about the Revlon version too 😊
