So I’ve started swimming , nit done so for many years . Love it. But my hair is bleached blonde .
I’ve read up on how to protect it.
So wet the hair as that helps stop the porousness as full of water, so less chlorine gets in .
Then out on the expensive Phillip Kingsley Swim Cap cream.
Then a silicone cap.
First time I swam I forgot my goggles, but still swam and all fine.
next time remembered goggles, did the above and then out on goggles. Swim cap started slipping off as I swam and eventually had to take it off before it came off and was lost in the pool.
Now it says wet hair generally is better for swim caps as stops the snagging.
cream was fine without goggles.
But I want to wear goggles.
Any advice to stop cap coming off when goggles on ?
What do other bleached blondes, or those generally protecting hair, do ?
