Help! I'm early 50s with long thick a-bit-wavy hair that is currently pretty shapeless and needs a serious glow up. (Same goes for the rest of me tbh.) I find going to the hairdresser's quite stressful and I'm also skint so don't go often, and don't want to have to go often. I want something long or mid length, gorgeous, easy to manage, gorgeous, more up to date than I have now (low bar) and did I mention gorgeous?
Not married to keeping it long but don't want to go properly short either. Shoulder length or longer, probably. I normally just have a trim but I want a bit of an update this time. Like, I want to actually look like I've had my hair cut/changed whereas normally I just have the scraggy ends chopped off.
I'm fine about looking my age, but I'd rather not look 20 years older, which is how I feel I look at the moment.
Any suggestions?
