Best tinted moisturiser for fair skin

AllTheBlackCoffee · 06/08/2023 10:29

The tinted moisturiser I usually buy is currently out of stock so looking for an alternative that gives a bit of coverage and colour but won't make me orange or too shiny. I'm generally quite pale but freckly too. Any good products out there?

I think Bare Minerals complexion rescue is great

Decemberly · 06/08/2023 10:33

I really like NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser

TheYearOfSmallThings · 06/08/2023 10:33

YSL Nu is good on me (very fair skin).

BitOutOfPractice · 06/08/2023 10:37

Clinique Dramatically Different moisturising bb gel.

cheaper option with more coverage is L’Oreal Skin Paradise
.

ExplodingCarrots · 06/08/2023 11:02

I second the Nars Pure Radiant . I'm also pale and freckly

matchamate · 06/08/2023 11:30

Unfortunately for my bank balance the best I have found it's the chantecaille one. But the shade range is quite poor. I go for the palest one.

Selttan · 06/08/2023 11:32

Another vote for Nars Pure Radiant but if I want a bit more coverage Hourglass Illusion Skin Tint.

ScarlettBeauregarde · 06/08/2023 11:35

I’m super pale and the only one that works for me is the Erborian redness correct.

movingstars · 06/08/2023 11:35

Try Opal in Bare minerals complexion rescue or Finland in the Nars one mentioned…

luckylavender · 06/08/2023 16:41

I like the Nivea one

AllTheBlackCoffee · 07/08/2023 10:53

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I've ordered the Nars one so will see how I get on. Just hoping it arrives in time for my holiday now Smile

The Nars one is fantastic. I wear it every day now and find foundation looks weirdly unnatural by comparison.

Cantstopvaping · 07/08/2023 11:25

Heliocare tinted spf all the way!! If you don’t already use a broad spectrum spf defo add one to your regime ☺️

Pinkitydrinkity · 07/08/2023 11:27

Another vote for Nars! I’ve tried a few and it’s the best ☺️

Scarlett - do you find this cream is light coloured enough to blend in with your skin tole? I'm also pale and don't want my face to look darker than my pale neck! 🙂

ScarlettBeauregarde · 07/08/2023 19:19

@Penguinsmum yep definitely for me, blends perfectly. Boots sell a mini 15ml tube which I tried before buying the big one, you could try that first!

Penguinsmum · 08/08/2023 04:14

@ScarlettBeauregarde thanks that's very helpful! I'll check out boots now! 🙂

JayAlfredPrufrock · 08/08/2023 04:20

Need to try some of these as mine has mysteriously disappeared.

SunRainStorm · 08/08/2023 04:30

Not moisturiser but I really rate the L'Oréal tinted serum.

I usually use georgio Armani luminous silk but find myself reaching for the L'Oréal just as often now.

Mooee · 17/08/2023 19:30

Try The Ordinary. Amazing range. Great coverage

I can definitely recommend Nutra Effects Radiance Tinted
Moisturiser - 50 ml and for £6! 😀

MaidOfSteel · 18/08/2023 12:26

I've just bought Boots No7 Shield & Defend range's City Light Tinted Moisturiser and have been quite impressed. I also like that it has SPF15. I think it was about £12 or £13.

Shannon50 · 19/08/2023 13:52

Hi hun

Why don't you try bronze ambition, which gives good coverage with no orange tint. It's not just for tanning purposes, but can be used has a moisturiser and the best thing is it stays until you wash it off. I have tried many tanning products and this is the best one by far that doesn't make you look tangoed. As long has you moisturise beforehand so it blends well, allowing it to dry for half hour, using a makeup pad sweep the bronze over the face then your good to go. Takes a few hours to notice the colour as its gradual, you can either put it on in the morning or before bed.... which is when I use it for an all over tan and when I wake up, it looks like i been in the sun.

I promise, you will see great results.

SunRainStorm · 19/08/2023 13:58

Fellow fair skinned people, I don't mean to hijack the thread- but has anyone tried the drunk elephant bronzing drops?

Do they look ridiculous on pale skin?
