What shoes with this dress?

I’m wearing this dress for a wedding in early September. The model is wearing very high strappy gold sandals. I have short legs so prefer not to have an ankle strap cutting them off and I’m not great with very high heels. I can do a mid heel.
What other shoes could I wear with it? Any links would be much appreciated. Thanks.

There are a few platform sandals out there and they are surprisingly easier to walk in that regular 'high heels'. Worth trying on a few.
