Looking for a versatile pair of winter boots

I've recently gotten some mum jeans and am enjoying wearing them with white trainers over Summer. I'm after a pair of boots that I can wear with them over winter that are practical for school runs and maybe small walks in the woods etc with my little one. Does anyone have any suggestions? X

Black timberlands. Mine are about 10 years old and I wear all winter in woods, wet, snow.

I'm in love with my Blundstones - have worn them throughout about five winters now, including dog walks on dry-ish days (they're waterproof but i can't be bothered with having to clean mud off them regularly). Brilliant if you have wide feet.

Another vote for Blundstones. I wear them to work (primary teacher, on my feet all day, and need to race across playgrounds to break up fights at times), for dog walks, all the time. They polish up very well - my 10 yr old wore hers to death as well, and we passed them on to a friend in nearly new condition.

I love the look of these - do they take a long time to break in?

Mine were comfortable pretty much from the start. Little bit of rubbing on the back of the heel, but they're pretty soft leather and the toe is round so doesn't crush your foot.

Oooo thanks these look lovely. Do you promise they're worth the money?! 🙈

Well, they have been for me! I think my only warning is they might not suit you if you have narrow feet. But on a cost-per-wear basis for me they have been brilliant value
