Long ago before dd was born she's 3.3 now I made a real effort with st tropez and achieved a really good all over tan.

However after a few swims in the pool it started to go blotchy and fade really fast.

Is there anyway I can avoid this? apart from not going in the water at all. This will be impossible going away end of August to Greece.

Is gradual build up moisturiser the answer? I don,t need to go too dark as have fair skin and hair just a nice golden glow.

Need to avoid the pasty look as staying a really nice hotel this year.

Any ideas expert tanners?

I usually use Johnsons Holiday Sun but that also does a patchy disappearing act after being subjected to chlorine. The only way I solved it was to exfoliate and reapply following my shower after swimming. Thats why I now avoid swimming!
