Is this dress ok for a funeral

Just that really. I want to look smart but as this dress has a small gold star design it look a bit sparkly under lights. It would be more muted in the day I expect. Opinions? Too flouncy? I’m a close family member and don’t want to stand out like a sore thumb

People don't even necessarily wear black at all. Its more about dressing respectfully and in a fairly sober way ime. I don't think the gold detracts from the overall look of the dress - it's fine.

Funerals in their nature are sprung upon us fairly suddenly so not everyone is expected to have the perfect all black attire
