Just that really: next summer so weather should be warm. I love Rat & Boa so something with a slouchy, form-fitting shape and nothing high necked. The problem with Rat & Boa is they’re all sheer and far too long so obviously they’re out! I’ve looked at Self Portrait but it’s too girly. I’m a size 8 / small 10 with no curves and suit fairly androgynous clothes - so nothing wrap style or 40s/50s style. Budget is anything up to about £300 and I don’t love patterns

Réalisation Par have some good options at the moment. Some similar shapes to Rat & Boa but not quite as long or sheer

I'm small and athletic/slight and honestly the only dresses that suit me are from the reformation or Zara, occasionally Maje or the Kooples. Everything else is too flouncy and feminine, and I end up swamped in material. So every wedding or occasion I'm wearing something from one of them

I’ve had a look at Realisation Par and it sort of embodies my problem with dresses in general: they all just look reeeeaaaally dated! I actually don’t think dresses are that in, and that’s why I struggle to find one I like!

In which case, why not a two piece?

I personally would wear this to a wedding with heeled sandals but appreciate it isn't very traditional nor everyone's cup of tea:
