Gua Sha for a teenager?

Are they suitable?

I'll be honest I'd never seen one before but they look either pointless or smearing germs all over their face.

They're 13, have fine skin except for the odd spot. Already has solid skincare routine (washing and gentle exfoliator) and really should worry less about how they look. But obviously I'm biased.

Whether or not they’re pointless is a matter of opinion, but - like most things - they’ll only smear germs if you don’t clean them.
