YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipstick

I’ve used colour 52 for years and usually buy from John Lewis. I cannot find it in stock anywhere! All over the internet! Is it discontinued?

I don't know whether the YSL was discontinued but Estee Lauder in Blush Tease (Hi-Lustre Pure Color Envy Lipstick) is very similar and it's part of the permanent range. If you can't find what you want, look up this one to see if it might tidy you up until you find the other one.

I went to John Lewis this morning and they had 3 left! They were down to £28 and the YSL lady said they look like they will be discontinued. How sad.

Thank you for the offer but though I love coral I can't carry it near my face. I'm just too yellow to suit coral lipstick or blush. I'm the same shade as beeswax candles 😁
I do love coral though and I've just remembered I have something very similar to your #52 in a South Korean lipstick I bought ages ago. I'll see if I can dig it out to give you one more option. I wear mine with a blue gloss from Lâncome to tone it down.

Oh my god! This is awful news I love #52. I think the colour has altered slightly over the years and I preferred the original but it’s still my favourite go to lipstick. Why would they do this?

I do have too many lipsticks... One more for you: Karadium in #4 Coral Chu. It's your exact colour but I think it was a limited edition so I'm not sure how easy you can get it now.

Same thing happened with Chanel recently. Discontinued a favourite bronzer of mine. It’s bizarre.

Glad I could help! I know things we love getting discontinued is a bit crap but I always think it's because there was something in it that's probably a no-no now like a chemical that's not allowed anymore. That makes it easier for me to move on.
