Shirts for petite women

Do they exist? I'm 5'4 with a shortish torso, usually size 8 (sometimes a 6 depending on brand). Ordered this in a size 6 petite and it swamped me. As well as being baggy around the chest area, it was ridiculously long.

I also tried on this lovely shirt in a shop and again it was massive, and very long in the arms.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Want to avoid polyester if possible!

But I was looking for a looser fit one for covering up on the beach, not for work etc.

In the past I've had success with Gap and French Connection for shirts.

Lands End do 100% supima cotton shirts in petite sizing, they seem to have put their prices up a lot recently but it's worth looking for the promotions/sale prices.

Although their sizing can be generous so you might find the 8 a bit on the large side

if you are petite I’d avoid the relaxed fit and go for slim or fitted style. It’ll fit much better

Hawes and Curtis I have also had a few shirts from here and although not officially petite sizing, the "fitted" styles in stretch cotton were great for me (I am 5'3") they come in a 6 or an 8
